Intentional bodywork may include a combination of the following massage techniques, which are discussed before and during each session.

Relaxation

Gentle and intentional massage to help release physical, mental and emotional tension, and quiet the mind

Myofascial

Sustained stretching and compression of muscle and connective tissue to release restrictions, reduce pain and restore movement

Acupressure

Focused pressure and mobilization to acupressure points and along the meridian system to restore the flow of Qi and reduce tension and stagnation

Pre / Post Natal

Intentional and focused massage to ease areas of tension and edema related to pregnancy and infant care

Thai / SHIATSU

Facilitated stretching, dynamic movement, static and rhythmic compressions with intentional breath work

Cupping

Traditional Chinese Medicine therapy that utilizes suction and negative pressure to restore the flow of Qi and reduce tension and stagnation

Gua Sha

Traditional Chinese Medicine therapy that incorporates a scraping technique along meridians to increase the flow of Qi and reduce tension and stagnation

Tui Na

Chinese Medicine therapy that leverages pushing and pulling techniques along the meridian system
